Flight by Mont Blanc

On arriving in the area we stayed in a Gite whilst looking for something more permanent. The owner was also a private pilot and in October schedules and weather finally allowed for a tour of the area by plane.

Angon Waterfall

Another delight of Lake Annecy is the walk up from Talloires to view the Angon Waterfall. A well defined path leads from the village but be prepared for a moderately steep walk.

Before turning the corner to see the waterfall there is an interesting limestone formation.

but the waterfall which follows is quite stunning and not fully captured by camera.

Loop from La Croisette, Saleve

One of our favourite walks with great views of the French Alps, Geneva and the Haute Savoie and a great place for lunch at the end. Simply start at La Croisette and follow the uphill path to the north. An easy walk taking around 90 minutes.
